La classe di pericolo Mutagenicità sulle cellule germinali (codice Muta., pericolo di tipo salute) è una delle classi previste dal Regolamento CLP (CE) n. 1272/2008. Che cos'è la classe Muta.
«Mutagenicità sulle cellule germinali» è la denominazione della classe di pericolo: indica il tipo di pericolo che la sostanza presenta. La gravità è espressa dalla categoria (ad esempio 1, 1A, 1B, 2, 3): più basso è il numero, maggiore è il pericolo. A ogni categoria corrispondono un'indicazione di pericolo (codice H), un pittogramma e un'avvertenza.

Se un prodotto contiene una sostanza di questa classe sopra le soglie pertinenti, la classificazione si riflette su etichetta CLP (pittogramma, avvertenza, indicazioni H, consigli P), scheda dati di sicurezza (sezioni 2 e 15), imballaggio ed eventuale notifica al centro antiveleni. Per le miscele il contributo dipende dalla concentrazione e da eventuali limiti specifici o fattori M.
